Fogger V4 Clone Review

Fogger V4 Clone

Fogger V4 Clone

The Fogger is one of the offshoots of the original Kayfun design. It is a rebuildable tank system that holds close to 6ml of e-juice. It also features some design improvements over the Kayfun AND the biggest news is that the clone makes this a wonderfully affordable device.

On sale for $16.93!

The Fogger V4 Clone Design

So how is the Fogger V4 Clone differ from the Kayfun design? The original Kayfun featured a deck with positive and negative posts. The coil was built over the single airflow hole coming up the middle of the deck. The chamber was rather small to retain heat. The result was a warm and intense flavor that beat just about all of the other tank options at the time it came out. The downside is that it was difficult to produce so it was often really hard to find.

The Fogger takes that original idea and makes several improvements to it. First off, the tank holds a little more juice which is nice. Secondly, the deck features 2 airflow holes off to the sides of the positive and negative posts. This allows for a dual coil setup while still positioning the coils directly over the air flow holes for that intense flavor the Kayfun was known for. But it also allows for a dual coil build so you can get a lower oHm rating and thus have a warmer, more intense vape when using this on a mechanical mod. And finally you have airflow control added on to all of this.

The Fogger V4 clone is a cheaper version of the Fogger obviously. This puts the whole unit down to a price point that anyone can afford. Also nice is if you’re not sure if the Fogger is for you, you can spend a little money just to try it out.

On sale for $16.93!

If you are a tank user – this option is certainly worth checking out.

454 Big Block RDA Clone

454 Big Block RDA Clone

Can You Say Performance?

The 454 Big Block is a wonderful RDA with some serious performance. As you can see, the 454 Big Block RDA Clone is now available for those of us on a serious budget.

On sale for $10.61

There are several things you can say about the 454 Big Block – you have to earn using this thing – its not easy to build on the first few times you try and coil this bad boy. This is no different than the original.

The deck is made up of one single positive post (double drilled) and 4 screws in the deck. The physical deck acts as your negative connection. When you build this thing you have to put the positive lead into the center post. The negative lead then goes under a retaining ring and you screw all of this down to the deck. It can be tricky the first few times you do this, but with a little practice you’ll get it down to where you’re not wrecking your coils.

So is this worth the hassle? Definitely! This thing is one of the best performers to come out this year. It performs right up there with the Plume Veil in my opinion. If you want serious performance for a low price, the 454 Big Block RDA clone is the way to go – no question.

454 Big Block RDA Clone Airflow

The air flow on the Big Block is particularly nice. You can run this in single, dual and quad coil configurations. Its outstanding. You just watch how the holes are lined up for whatever configuration you’re running and this beast brings the airflow. No question. You can adjust the airflow holes as well to vary the amount of pull you’re getting from this device.

Also cool is the included drip tip. The base of the drip tip features side airflow holes – this prevents spit back from the vapor as well as creating more of a vortex as the vapor is leaving the RDA.

And now that it has been cloned, you can now enjoy the 454 Big Block at a fraction of the price of the original.

Plume Veil RDA Clone

Luxury Performance From A Clone

Plume Veil RDA Clone

Plume Veil RDA Clone

The Plume Veil RDA is one of the more innovative devices on the market right now. Unfortunately, its both pricey and hard to find as most dealers are out of stock at the moment.

But the good news is there is a really nice Plume Veil RDA Clone out on the market so you too can enjoy one of the best RDA designs available.

Available in:

Stainless Steel for $10.04
Black for $10.70
Copper for $14.89

Plume Veil RDA Clone – How does it stack up?

The Plume Veil RDA Clone is different than a lot of designs out there. This clone has 3 sets of air flow holes. You have the standard, slot control slide adjustment on the sides of the top cap where the coils sit. A second, non-adjustable set of air holes are on either side of the top cap that lead to channels in the deck. The air here is brought up from the posts on the deck – very nice. And finally there are 2 holes on the top of the top-cap that are adjustable by turning the Delrin ring to open and close them. This is really nice as they create a vacuum to shape the airflow as it brings the vapor to the drip tip.

The Plume Veil RDA Clone also features a gold plated deck and double terminal center post that turns to accommodate various builds you might want to try on this thing.

The Plume Veil is very useful for both single coil and quad coil builds.

It comes in several finishes that the original does not which is quite nice as well. You can get the standard Stainless Steel, Black Top-Cap or Copper Editions.

I actually really love this about clones – you end up getting different finish options to match up whatever mod you are using.

So if you can find and and afford the original, go for it! For the rest of us there is a choice of clones.

Quasar RDA Clone

In Stock:
Brushed Stainless Steel for $10.10
Brass for $8.37
Copper for $9.45

The Quasar is one of the hot boutique rebuildable atomizers on the market. It runs over $100 and that’s if you can find it in stock. Luckily, there are several Quasar RDA clone models already out for a fraction of the cost of the original. And they look pretty good!

What’s amazing is that the latest Quasar RDA is the copper model. There was a machine malfunction at Cosmic Innovations and the genuine Quasar RDA has been delayed another month. Oddly enough – the clone is readily available and literally less than 1/10th the cost of the one everyone has pre-ordered. So you think you want one? You can get it now.

Quasar RDA Design

The Quasar is a standard 3 post rebuildable atomizer. The awesome thing about this design is the slot-type airflow control and conical top cap design. You have 3 choices of sleeve material on this RDA. It comes available in brass, brushed stainless steel and copper.

This RBA looks amazingly sharp. Its well reviewed as one of the better RDA’s to come out so far this year. The clone is a 1:1 so you can’t beat the price.

If you’re a vapor who’s budget conscious – these clones are just what you’re looking for!

Nemesis Clone

Nemesis Clone - stainless steel

If mechanical mods are your thing, you’ve undoubtedly heard of the Nemesis clone. The real Nemesis is made by Atmomixani in Greece. Its one of the best designs in mechanical mods. I say this because lots of mech mod designs get pretty fidgety when it comes to getting a snug fit with your battery. Some are downright clumsy. But the Atmomixani design is one of the best by far. One key to the design is the top cap pin which you simply screw until its touching your atomizer. The second key is the switch design, you just screw the bottom switch in until its snug. Done! There’s no screwing and unscrewing to try and get the thumb screws just right – everything just works.

There are two problems with the Atmomixani Nemesis. First off its expensive. Secondly its REALLY hard to find one even if you want to spend the premium price to get it. Enter the clone market.

China basically clones EVERYTHING. From cell phones to flashlights and back again. And these clones are dirt cheap. The Nemesis clones are literally 1 to 1 – just about impossible to tell them apart. And here’s where it gets better – the clones actually have better performance and less voltage drop than the original. I’m going to break down some of your options and explain – there’s a lot of clones available.

Nemesis Clone - stainless steel

This one is a classic. Low maintenance and will work forever if you take care of it. And the best part is the price – its $25. This one is the first Nemesis clone I bought and probably my favorite. Very durable and I’ve even dropped it twice.

The finish on this one is a mix of a brushed stainless steel tubes and polished stainless steel collars. It looks fantastic.

Nemesis Clone - Mixed Edition 1

Nemesis Clone - Mixed Edition 2

The original Nemesis is released in several variations with different mixes of materials. These are released in “editions” such as the mixed matte edition, the Kalafan edition and the VW edition. You can get a nemesis clone in similar configurations as well. Also cool is getting 2 mods and mixing your own – why not – there not expensive at all.

Nemesis Clones in copper and brass

Brass for $19.79
Copper Edition for $24.90

Nemesis Clone Brass

Nemesis Clone Copper

These are two of my favorite Nemesis clones. I bought one of each and did 2 mixed editions of my own. A few notes about these: First off they feature silver pins – not a big deal, they still hit hard. Just know the pins aren’t brass or copper. Secondly these Nemesis clones are higher maintenance due to the materials they are made out of. Not a big deal, just remember to get some Brass-O and copper cleaner so you can keep these looking their best.

Various Colors

I personally am not a fan of these mainly because they are anodized aluminum. Just not as heavy duty as the one’s I’ve listed above. But if you like having a colored mod – these are still the same great design as the other Nemesis clones so they’ll do just fine. I’m just more traditional personally. But they look good for what they are. Note: these are 14500/14350 battery sizes.

General Advice for Buying Clones

Clones are cheap alternatives to the real deal. They are amazingly no different than the real deal in most cases. I’ve linked up several options here for getting your Nemesis clone. The Fasttech devices are the best deals out there, but Fasttech can be slow and sometimes your stuff sits in customs forever getting out of China. Be sure to read my article on buying from Fasttech.

That’s it – get a Nemesis clone – I promise you’ll love it!

Buying From Fasttech

Buying from Fasttech is certainly one of the cheapest ways of getting vape gear. However Fasttech is a massive company in China and if you’re not sure what you’re doing it can be a very frustrating experience. I’m writing this article to give you a few tips on getting your stuff and getting it in a reasonable amount of time.

One of the biggest jokes in the vape community is referring to Fasttech as Slowtech. If you follow some of the rules of thumb here you’ll decrease your wait time. However you need to remember that Fasttech is not Amazon. There’s no “Prime” subscription and certainly no express shipping. You’re buying things from China and depending on your shipping method combined with their confusing stock status – you could be waiting up to a month to get your stuff.

Buying From Fasttech: Stock Status

Fasttech have an amazing selection of electronic cigarette supplies. They’ve got everything from cheap clones of mods to RDA’s to refill coils to you name it. Its easy to feel like a kid at Christmas when you’re shopping. However you need to understand the status of whether or not something is in stock. You could be disappointed if your order gets held up. Fasttech is (likely intentionally) unclear about stock status.

buying from fasttech

If you’re browsing an item, make sure to look near the “BUY” button. You’ll see the status – it might read something like “ships next day” or “ships in two weeks”. These status alerts are usually fairly accurate so if its not ready to ship in the next day, be prepared to wait. Also frustrating is that they will hold your order until all of the things you’re buying are ready. So if you have one thing in your shopping cart that’s on a 2 week wait – they will wait 2 weeks until its all there. If you are in this situation and don’t want to wait, complete your order without the item then make a second order (you’ll have to pay shipping again). That’s the workaround. Otherwise prepare to be patient.

Note: You can also see your order stock status in your shopping cart view.

Shipping

One of the features Fasttech loves to brag about is the “Free Worldwide Shipping”. Yes its free and yes its awful. Your stuff will sit in Chinese customs for up to a month. I had one order sit there for 6 weeks. You don’t want to go this route – its not worth it.

The best option is to select “EMS Speedpost Global Express” at checkout. This will probably route it through another country, but you will get your order in a week instead of 6 weeks. It costs extra, but for me its worth it mainly because my time and patience are worth something. In that context, $20 or so isn’t so bad. I also recommend using PayPal on checkout. Sure its a pain, but it makes global orders a little easier when buying from Fasttech.

Delivery

This one is the kicker. Your order is shipped from China when buying from Fasttech so there’s all kinds of customs papers on the package. You will need to be home to sign for it. I ship my stuff to the office where we always have mail delivery people. If you don’t have this option, track your shipment and be ready to take a personal day to stay home and wait for the mail. If I forget and I’m not there to sign – then my package goes to the post office for additional loosing and holding. Its really frustrating. They don’t make this clear on the site so get it shipped somewhere where you can sign.

Improving Your Experience Ordering from Fasttech

So its a pain, but that’s how it all works. I didn’t know this the first time I bought through Fasttech and it caused me a great deal of grief when my stuff was just sitting there in customs over in China. But if you follow the tips I’ve given you here you’ll be in good shape. When I do my orders this way I usually have my stuff in the US in 1 week assuming its all in stock.

Otherwise another attitude is just be REALLY patient. Place your order and then forget about it. You’ll have a nice surprise when it actually shows up.
